Client Software Manager, Anna Nyegaard, is a natural problem solver. Born and raised on a farm outside Seattle, she has always been the person that everyone could turn to when things stopped working. Whether it’s a tractor, a lawn mower, or a software system, Anna is blessed with one of those brains that can identify the problem, and then figure out a way to fix it. This has served her well in her career.

Anna’s introduction to the technical side of management was one of those happy accidents. While working towards a Geology degree at Central Washington University, she took a job with Puget Sound Orthopedics. They happened to have an excellent IT department that needed help. Anna found herself going down the YouTube rabbit hole to learn the technical side of the business, and thus found her passion. She transferred her credits to Technical Management, graduating cum laude with a BS in 2014, before earning her MISM (Master of Management Information Systems) in 2017 from Keller Graduate School of Management.

BrinsonAnderson co-founder, Cheyenne Brinson, met Anna 4 years ago through her job at Phoenix Ortho in Dallas. A magpie when it comes to identifying and collecting talent, Cheyenne knew that she wanted Anna working with her when she launched her own company. As Client Software Manager, Anna’s job is to learn every EHR system for every BrinsonAnderson Consulting client and then design training documents that can be utilized by all the different positions in a client’s office. It’s a huge undertaking as there are literally hundreds of different EHR systems. But this is also what Anna loves about her job — the freedom and challenge of creating something entirely new, and pretty awesome.

When not staring at a computer screen, Anna loves to be outside. As a young adult, she showed Arabian horses and still loves to ride in her spare time. An avid runner, Anna has finished 6 full marathons and 6 half marathons with no plan to stop anytime soon. During Covid, she even built herself a gym right outside her office. As she travels so much for business, fun for her is staying close to home. She still lives on a farm, and still loves fixing things. One of her current pleasures is spoiling her nephew with Lego sets that they build together. It’s one of those perfect gifts that is as much for her as it is for him.
